His mother, Chervon Hull Tanner, has made emotional pleas to the public for any information that could lead to an arrest. She has expressed the immense pain of celebrating her first Mother's Day without her son and the frustration of knowing that those responsible are still at large. Tanner has mentioned that some individuals who were with her son on the night of his death have reached out to her, and she has urged them to share what they know with the police. CrimeStoppers of Metro Alabama has also indicated a lack of tips in the case, highlighting the urgent need for someone to come forward and help bring closure to a grieving family.
