On July 13, 2024, five-year-old Landyn Brooks was tragically killed in a triple homicide in Birmingham, Alabama. At approximately 5:20 p.m., Birmingham Police Department officers responded to reports of a car accident in the 1700 block of Indian Summer Drive, near the entrance to Echo Highlands Park.
