On April 22, 2017, 31-year-old Brandon Durrell Conwell was fatally shot during an altercation outside his residence at 321 Woodward Road in Midfield, Alabama. The incident, which also resulted in the death of 42-year-old Larry Vincent Price, reportedly stemmed from a dispute over a mobile phone. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
