On a spring evening in Washington, D.C., 18-year-old Saoun Coplins, a male resident of the Northeast quadrant of the city, tragically lost his life. The date was Saturday, May 4, 2019, when violence interrupted the night in the 3000 block of Stanton Road, Southeast. It was there that police were called to the scene, discovering Saoun suffering from a gunshot wound.
