On June 19, 2023, 29-year-old Jasmine Nicole Whitson was found deceased in her Anniston, Alabama, residence on Elm Street. Responding to a call about an unconscious woman, Anniston Police officers discovered Whitson inside the home, having suffered a fatal gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
