Death by Force

On October 9, 2022, at approximately 10:45 PM, Birmingham Police Department officers and Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel responded to reports of a car fire in the parking lot of an apartment complex located in the 3200 block of Avenue S in Ensley. Upon extinguishing the blaze, authorities discovered the remains of 21-year-old Anthony Keith Hall Jr. inside the vehicle. Subsequent reports indicated that gunfire had been heard in the vicinity prior to the discovery of the burning car.
