It was supposed to be a celebration, a gathering of friends and family to mark another year of life for Deandrea Martez Moore. The 29-year-old man was enjoying his birthday festivities in Birmingham, Alabama, on the evening of September 11, 2022, when the celebration was shattered by gunfire. In a sudden and violent act, a drive-by shooting erupted, targeting the group and tragically cutting Moore's life short.
