On August 10, 2022, at approximately 7:17 p.m., 22-year-old Joshua Alexander Adams was shot during an assault in the 1000 block of 26th Avenue North in Hueytown, Alabama. He was transported to UAB Medical West Hospital in Bessemer, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.

Following the incident, the Hueytown Police Department arrested 26-year-old Patrick Levell Johnson on charges of capital murder and shooting into an occupied dwelling. Johnson was transferred to the J ...Read More
