On August 10, 2022, at approximately 7:17 p.m., 22-year-old Joshua Alexander Adams was shot during an assault in the 1000 block of 26th Avenue North in Hueytown, Alabama. He was transported to UAB Medical West Hospital in Bessemer, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
