On April 14, 2019, at approximately 2:00 a.m., 54-year-old David Wade Reynolds, a Highway Coordinator for the Jefferson County Department of Roads and Transportation, was fatally struck by a vehicle while clearing storm debris from 15th Street Road near Hueytown, Alabama. Reynolds was responding to a downed tree obstructing the roadway when the incident occurred.

The Jefferson County Coroner's Office ruled Reynolds' death a homicide. Subsequent investigations led to the arrest of 71-ye ...Read More
