On February 1, 2021, in Birmingham, Alabama, 75-year-old Eula Mae Moore and her 54-year-old son, Derrick Cornell Moore, were found deceased in their residence at 1481 Edwards Street. Responding officers discovered one victim unresponsive in the hallway and another in a bedroom; both had sustained gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene.
