On December 13, 2021, authorities discovered the body of 49-year-old Michael Anthony Box inside his burned residence at 957 National Forest Road 121 in Houston, Alabama. The circumstances surrounding his death prompted an investigation by local law enforcement and the 25th Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office.
