Maurice M. McCauley, 33, was fatally shot on August 18, 2021, in Anniston, Alabama. The incident occurred in the 1800 block of Moore Avenue, where McCauley was spending time with family and friends. The shooting left McCauley mortally wounded, and he was later pronounced dead at a nearby medical center. Two other individuals were injured in the same event but survived.
