On December 28, 2020, 50-year-old Lashawn Williams Parrish was found unresponsive in her apartment at 1024 12th Street North in Birmingham, Alabama. A concerned family member, unable to reach her for several days, discovered her body and alerted authorities. Upon arrival, Birmingham Police officers and emergency responders pronounced Parrish deceased at the scene.
