On January 1, 2007, 20-year-old Wyteria Randnitta Falconer Rogers was found shot to death in her car on the 200 block of 93rd Street North in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred around 2:15 a.m., marking the city's first homicide of the year. Authorities quickly identified and arrested her boyfriend, Gregory Johnson Jr., also 20, in connection with the crime.
