In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Birmingham, Alabama, a dispute escalated into deadly violence, claiming the life of 30-year-old Charles Edward Gregory. On April 19, 2020, at a residence in the 1000 block of Alabama Avenue Southwest, what began as a verbal altercation tragically ended with Gregory suffering a fatal gunshot wound.
