On April 19, 2020, 30-year-old Charles Edward Gregory was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred in the early hours at a residence in the 1000 block of Alabama Avenue Southwest. Upon arrival, officers discovered Gregory lying on the living room floor, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to UAB Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
