On September 10, 2020, 11-year-old Emryhe Prude and his 8-year-old sister, Serriss, were involved in a fatal multi-vehicle collision on Montgomery Highway in Hoover, Alabama. The siblings were passengers in a 2010 Honda Fit, which was stopped in traffic when it was rear-ended by a 1996 GMC C6 heavy-duty truck driven by 47-year-old Christopher Shane Anagnos.
