On a summer afternoon, the life of 8-year-old Royta Giles Jr., a male, was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire at the Riverchase Galleria in Hoover, Alabama. The boy, who was looking forward to starting the third grade, was shopping with his family for Fourth of July outfits on July 3, 2020.
