Austin Aaron, 14, died at Children's Hospital from injuries suffered when a Walker County Sheriff's Office patrol vehicle struck the ATV he was driving at Alabama State Highway 69 southbound at Old Tuscaloosa Road in Jasper three days earlier. Deputy Blake Carter Hudson was found to have been driving recklessly and under the influence of alcohol. He was dismissed from the force.
