On July 11, 2019, 42-year-old Daniel Izell Johnson, along with three other individuals from Little Rock, Arkansas, was killed in a tragic vehicle collision near Jasper, Alabama. The incident occurred around 1:50 a.m. on Interstate 22 at mile marker 61, approximately one mile south of Jasper. Johnson was a passenger in a Nissan Altima driven by 49-year-old Monica Daniele Jackson.
