Authorities have announced the identity of the man found shot to death at an apartment complex in Center Point.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has confirmed that the victim is Phillip Edward Lankford, aged 59.

The cause of death remains unknown in connection with the deadly Southfield apartment fire. Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies responded at 9 a.m. Sunday to Shadowood Circle following a report of a body discovered near a stairwell within the apartment complex. ...Read More
