On the evening of May 31, 2023, the life of 24-year-old Quindell Javon Rhodes, a Black male from Birmingham, Alabama, was tragically cut short. The incident unfolded around 9:18 p.m. in the 500 block of Tupelo Way in Center Point, where Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of a shooting.
