On November 24, 2022, 23-year-old Theodore Alexander Hill was fatally shot in Center Point, Alabama. The incident occurred around 6:45 p.m. in the 2400 block of 5th Street Northwest, where Hill was attending a Thanksgiving gathering. Responding to reports of a shooting, Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies arrived to find Hill unresponsive; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
