Murdered

Milwaukee police are conducting a homicide investigation into a man who was severely beaten in June, a department spokeswoman said.

Scott L. Pipito, 52, was found unconscious June 15 inside a building in the 700 block of N. 37th St., police spokeswoman Anne E. Schwartz said.

Pipito died in a hospital Tuesday, Schwartz said. He is believed to have been homeless, she said.

No arrests have been made in connection with the homicide, Schwartz said.
