In the early morning hours of September 23, 2013, the life of 37-year-old Demetrius J. Grayson, a Black male from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was tragically cut short. Grayson was fatally shot in the 2800 block of N. 33rd St. The incident, which occurred shortly after 4:30 a.m. near the intersection of 33rd and Hadley on the city's north side, was quickly classified as a homicide by Milwaukee police.
