In the spring of 2016, a life was tragically cut short on the streets of Milwaukee. Lavenski Dennis, a 23-year-old African-American man, became a victim of violence on the night of Sunday, April 17th. The incident that led to his death unfolded around 10:20 p.m. near the intersection of N. 29th Street and W. Mt. Vernon Avenue.
