Juan Casarez, a 35-year-old resident of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was fatally shot on August 29, 2010. The incident occurred early Sunday morning, around 2:30 a.m., in the 1300 block of W. National Ave. on the city's south side.

Casarez was taken to Froedtert Hospital, where he succumbed to his gunshot injuries later that Sunday afternoon.
