In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the life of a young African-American man, Christopher Gillum, was tragically cut short. On March 18, 2012, the 24-year-old male was walking home with friends near North 7th and West Vliet streets when he was fatally shot. The incident occurred at approximately 1:32 a.m., leaving a void in the lives of those who knew him.
