A baby is found unresponsive in his crib
On July 8, 2001, 1-year-old Carlos Ricardo Thomas was found unresponsive in his crib at his home on Old Forge Road in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He was immediately rushed to the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters, where he was placed on life support. Sadly, three days later, on July 11, 2001, Carlos passed away. An autopsy conducted by the State Medical Examiner’s Office revealed signs of trauma, leading the death to be classified as a homicide.
