A woman's body is found in a field; her body severely beaten
In the summer of 2004, a sense of unease settled over the rural community of Isle of Wight County, Virginia, following a grim discovery that would leave a lasting scar. On July 1st, the body of 28-year-old Carrie Singer, a female, was found in a remote field. She had been brutally beaten, and the cause of her death was determined to be blunt force trauma. Her body, found half-naked, spoke to the violence of her final moments.
