In the quiet, rural landscape of Capron, Virginia, a grim discovery was made on the afternoon of October 2, 2024. The Southampton County Sheriff's Office received a report around 2:01 p.m. about an unresponsive woman lying on Angelico Road. When deputies arrived at the scene, about a mile from the intersection of Cedar View Road, they found the woman in the roadway.
