A man is shot and killed getting out of his vehicle
On June 8, 2008, in the early morning hours, Eric Mario Carballo was shot as he exited a vehicle in the 500 block of Southgate Avenue in the Aragona section of Virginia Beach, Virginia. The shooting occurred around 2:40 a.m., and Carballo succumbed to his injuries shortly afterward. His body was taken to the State Medical Examiner's Office, where it was determined that he had died from a gunshot wound, and his death was ruled a homicide.
