In the early morning hours of Saturday, December 20, 2025, a violent incident unfolded in the Sparrow Point Townhomes community of Virginia Beach, Virginia. At approximately 7:01 a.m., emergency dispatchers received a call regarding a shooting in the 1300 block of Pine Cone Circle. Officers from the Virginia Beach Police Department responded rapidly to the scene, where they discovered a 35-year-old male victim, Brinte Lamont Walston of Norfolk, suffering from a gunshot wound.
