Lequan Devon Cherry, a 26-year-old man from Norfolk, Virginia, tragically lost his life on December 30, 2024, in a fatal shooting on Virginia Beach Boulevard. Cherry was pronounced dead at the scene after officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 5400 block of Virginia Beach Boulevard, an area near the Hunters Mill Shoppes. The incident occurred just after noon, and authorities quickly launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
