In the quiet, early morning hours of August 10, 2014, the life of 17-year-old Eliel Olguin was tragically cut short in Denver, Colorado. A white male, Eliel found himself in the 600 block of South Osceola Street at approximately 1:00 a.m. when the night was shattered by the sound of gunfire.
An unknown number of assailants fired at Eliel, striking him twice. He collapsed into the driveway of a residence at 629 S.
Osceola Street as the suspect or suspects made their escape, fleeing the scene in a vehicle heading northbound on Osceola Street. Despite being rushed to Denver Health Medical Center, Eliel Olguin succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
