On August 10, 2014, 17-year-old Eliel Olguin was shot and killed in Denver, Colorado, in a case that remains unsolved. Around 1:00 a.m., Olguin was standing outside in the 600 block of South Osceola Street when an unknown suspect or suspects opened fire, hitting him twice. He collapsed into a nearby driveway at 629 South Osceola Street. The assailants fled the scene, heading northbound on Osceola Street in a vehicle.
