In the early morning hours of July 2, 2019, the life of 58-year-old Jerrick 'JJ' Johnson, a male resident of Denver, Colorado, was tragically cut short. Johnson was discovered in an alley located between Cook and Madison streets, near 36th Avenue, in the Clayton neighborhood, suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. The quiet residential area, situated just north of the City of Nairobi Park, became the scene of a homicide investigation.
