On June 24, 2007, Grashid Young, aged 27, was found dead in Houston, Texas. The circumstances of her death suggested foul play, and the Houston Police Department quickly opened an investigation. Despite their efforts, her case went cold, and it remains an unsolved homicide today. The Houston Police Department's Cold Case Squad, formed to address the backlog of unsolved murder cases, continues to review cases like Grashid Young’s, using advances in technology and hoping for new leads to bring closure to her family and the community.
