Carolyn Jean Holmes, a 48-year-old African American woman from Houston, Texas, tragically lost her life on April 7, 2017. She was one of five victims in a shocking quadruple murder-suicide that spanned multiple locations in Houston and Fort Bend County. The incident began when Dekitta Holmes, Carolyn's 29-year-old sister, went on a violent shooting spree.
