Eva and her husband, Oscar Ballinas, 55, were found dead in their bed, having been shot by their son, Kenneth Ballinas, who was 26 years old at the time. Kenneth admitted to the police that he had shot his parents while they were in bed.
He was charged with capital murder in the 182nd State District Court.
