On August 24, 2008, at approximately 2:15 p.m., 28-year-old Jose Jaramillo Osorio was fatally shot at 7360 Schuller Road in Houston, Texas. Responding officers from the Houston Police Department discovered Osorio with multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators identified 25-year-old Carlos Duarte Beiza as the suspect in the shooting. Beiza was charged with murder in the 339th State District Court.
