Mario Granados Plafex was killed on July 16, 2007, in Nashville, Tennessee. His case remains one of the numerous unsolved murders in the city. The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department's Cold Case Unit continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death. Despite extensive efforts by law enforcement and collaborations with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, no conclusive resolution has been reached.
