Montinez Devon Johnson, a 25-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on July 26, 2014, in Nashville, Tennessee. Johnson was standing outside his apartment on University Court with two other men when a dispute erupted. Two men in a black Monte Carlo had approached the group, and after an argument, a tall, muscular man in a bright orange shirt ran up and started shooting.
