On December 11, 2023, at approximately 3:15 a.m., 57-year-old Jesús Manuel Sigala Armendáriz was found in the driver's seat of his red GMC pickup truck with a gunshot wound to the head. The incident occurred in the parking lot of Covenant Crossing Apartments on Thompson Lane in Nashville, Tennessee. A witness reported that a small, light-colored, four-door vehicle approached as Sigala was backing into a parking space, and an occupant of that vehicle fired shots into his truck.
