In the spring of 2017, the life of Carlos Moran, a 32-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting in Nashville, Tennessee. On the evening of May 29, 2017, Moran was in the Napier-Sudekum neighborhood when he was shot and killed during an attempted robbery. He was pronounced dead at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Moran was a decorated combat veteran who had served two tours in Iraq and was remembered for his kindness and generosity.
