In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Nashville, Tennessee, on May 31, 2009, the life of 23-year-old Carl C. Reed was tragically cut short. Reed was at his duplex located in the 2400 block of Heiman Street in the northern part of the city when he received a telephone call. Shortly after the call, two men arrived at his residence.
