In the winter of 2014, a tragic event cut short the life of 44-year-old Mamadou Ngom, a male resident of Memphis, Tennessee. On the evening of December 22nd, Ngom was at the Amigo's market located in the 3000 block of Summer Avenue. It was during what appeared to be a robbery at the market that he was fatally shot.
