In a quiet home in the Parkway Village area of Memphis, Tennessee, the life of 37-year-old Javodrick J. Gordon came to a violent and unexpected end. On the evening of Wednesday, April 24, 2024, Gordon was fatally shot while he slept in his own bed. The grim discovery was made by a concerned family member after he failed to appear for work. He had sustained gunshot wounds to his head and chest, and there were no signs of a struggle or forced entry into his residence on Cloister Avenue.
