In the early evening of a summer day in Philadelphia, a crowded playground in the 6000 block of A Street became the scene of a sudden and tragic outbreak of violence. On June 26, 2007, amidst the sounds of recreation, gunfire erupted, sending dozens of people scattering in fear. When the chaos subsided, four young men were found suffering from gunshot wounds. Among them was 27-year-old Freeman Lambeck, a male resident of West Columbia Avenue.
