Joseph Chang Ha, a 67-year-old resident of Philadelphia, was the victim of a tragic homicide that occurred on February 27, 2009. Ha's murder took place during a home invasion in which he was targeted by his own nephew. This crime shocked the local community, especially given the family connection, which investigators found particularly surprising. The homicide investigation eventually led to the arrest and conviction of the nephew, who had been involved in robbing his uncle during the incident.
