Anthony Sams, a 20-year-old from Beltzhoover, Pittsburgh, was fatally shot on April 26, 2009. The incident took place on Industry Street in the Beltzhoover neighborhood, where Sams was reportedly sitting on the steps when he was approached by the shooter. As he attempted to run away, Sams was shot in the back of the head. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene, and no one has yet been charged with his homicide.
