Daton Boyd, a 22-year-old resident of Pittsburgh, was fatally shot on February 22, 2010, in the Hill District neighborhood. Police responded to a call around 7:50 p.m. and found Boyd on the 2100 block of Elmore Square with multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics transported Boyd to UPMC Mercy Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:25 p.m. The investigation into his murder remains open, and no arrests have been made as of now.
